Humble Beginnings: The Birth of a Vision

In the year 2000, Motherhome Welfare Society was founded with a simple yet powerful dream—to bring hope, dignity, and opportunities to those who needed them the most. What started as a small initiative in Rajahmundry, East Godavari District, soon grew into a movement dedicated to empowering women, caring for the neglected elderly and orphaned children, and promoting environmental sustainability.

Seeing the struggles of vulnerable communities—women trapped in poverty, children without a future, and elderly individuals abandoned in loneliness—we knew we had to take action. We began by offering small-scale skill development programs for women, providing them with vocational training to help them become financially independent. Soon, our efforts expanded to include orphanages, elderly care homes, and large-scale tree plantation drives, turning our vision into reality.

Empowering Women: Creating Paths to Independence

One of our core beliefs is that when a woman is empowered, an entire family thrives. From the very beginning, we focused on providing women with vocational training in tailoring, handicrafts, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship, equipping them with the skills to become self-reliant. Many of the women who once struggled to earn a living are now running successful small businesses and supporting their families with confidence and dignity.

Over the years, our Women Empowerment Programs have helped thousands of women break free from financial dependency, giving them the power to shape their own futures. Today, we continue to expand our reach, ensuring that no woman is left behind in her journey toward independence.

A Safe Haven for the Elderly and Children

We believe that no child should be left without a loving home and no elderly person should spend their final years in loneliness. Our orphanages and elderly care homes provide a safe, nurturing environment where children receive education, healthcare, and emotional support, while the elderly find companionship, dignity, and proper medical care.

The smiles of children who once had no hope, and the contentment in the eyes of elderly residents who once felt abandoned, are what fuel our commitment to continue this work. Through continuous support, we strive to restore the warmth of family and the security of a home to those who need it most.
